Sell Us Your Used Fire Truck

    In addition to listing used fire trucks for sale for fire departments, we also buy only high quality and reliable used fire trucks, which are ready to continue their service for another fire department.  We also internally finance those, who purchase these apparatus we own directly from us.

    We consider directly purchasing apparatus that meet the following criteria:

    1.    1995 or newer

    2.    1985-1994, if refurbished after 2000.

    3.    Under 50K miles

    4.    Currently certified pump and or aerial

    5.    No major rust, leaks, cracked welds, or mechanical issues.

    6.    Apparatus was never involved in a major accident, roll-over, or service damage, requiring major repairs.

    7.    Apparatus that has some hose, tools, etc.

    8.    Your asking price is within the range of the fair market value of the apparatus.

    9.    We can close the transaction in less than 10 days.

    10.    Clear title can be conveyed  to us at the time of sale.

    11.    Purchasing preference is given if the selling departments purchased and financed their new apparatus through VFD-Fire and VFD-Funding.

    12.    The used apparatus for sale is not listed with any other dealer or broker and is not posted to any web site anywhere, other than the selling department's web site. 

    To give us the information to consider, please complete our "Free Listing Form" as thoroughly as possible, with all information we need to make our decision.  Even if we don't buy your apparatus ourselves, it still may qualify to be listed on our many web sites.  You have a much better chance of selling your fire truck to us or through us and our many high search engine ranking web sites, than you will find anywhere.
